Many higher study options are there for the B.Arch graduates. These graduates can apply for CEED, which is the qualifying exam for higher study in design, during the final year itself. This also provides scholarship. Another option is the Master's degree in architecture. The graduates who have completed their B.Arch can join for this. The best option for higher study after B.Arch is the Master of design. It has many career opportunities. There are many institutes in India which offers this course. It totally depends on you. From my point of view, I'll prefer B.Tech in civil engineering due to more job prospects in government sector. After doing your B.Tech from civil engineering, you will have more options than B.arch. You can give GATE, IES or if you want to go in management field then you can give GRE, CAT and XAT. So, all over, I'll prefer B.Tech in civil engineering over B.Arch.

Candidates must have a minimum of 40% marks in the All India National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) conducted by Council of Architecture (CoA) and must have passed any one of the following courses with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate:
10+2 with Mathematics and English as compulsory subject or 3 years Diploma (any stream) after 10 years of schooling recognized by Central/State Government with mathematics and English as compulsory subjects.
