Candidates willing to take admission to the BCom course at BSE Institute Limited, Mumbai, can apply in on of the two modes: online or offline. In both the modes, the application form must be duly filled out and submitted with the required documents and the application fee as specified by the institute.

BSE Institute Mumbai BCom admission is primarily based on the applicants' performance in the aptitute test or BIL Entrance Test conducted by the institute. Candidates who qualify in the exam are shortlisted for the personal interview. The institute conducts the exam usually in or around April every year. In 2025, the BIL Entrance Test was conducted on April 4, 2025 from 10 am to 4 pm. The results for the same were declared on April 5, 2025.

BSE Institute Mumbai offers a three-year BCom in Banking & Financial Services Analytics. Admission to the programme is subject to the fulfilment of the preset eligibility criteria. As per the eligibility criteria specified by the institute, candidates who have passed Class 12 with a minimum aggregate of 60% from a recognised board are eligible to pursue BCom at BSE Institute. Hence, a candidate scoring 65% in Class 12 is eligible to apply for admission. However, they will be required to appear for an aptitude test and a personal interview for selection.

As per the BSE Institute's admission guidelines, admission to the BCom programme is based on candidates' performance in the aptitude conducted by the institute, followed by a personal interview. Further, candidates must fulfil the eligibility criteria to be considered for admission. The minimum qualification for admission is Class 12 with 60% aggregate. Therefore, direct admission to the BCom course of BSE Institute Mumbai is not possible.

The availability of electives varies from college to college, but some of the common ones are, Finance, Taxation, International Business, Business Law, and, Auditing and Control.
