Yes, you can apply for MSc Economics after completing BCom. In BCom you would have students Economics at college level. This way you will have more or less the same aptitude in the subject as that of a BA Economics or BSc Economics graduate. You may have to study the topics covered in these courses to clear entrance exams for admission.
