Bhaskar Degree College offers a BCom programme that is fully aligned with the National Education Policy 2020. This means the course is modern and very flexible for students. One highlight is the focus on digital literacy and skill-based learning. Students don't just read books; they gain practical knowledge through value-added courses.

Taking a gap year after Class 12 will not harm your chances at all for B.Com admissions in Kolkata, as top private colleges like St. Xavier's College explicitly allow students to apply up to 3 to 5 years after passing school. Since admissions are a pure merit game based strictly on your Class 12 board percentage, a candidate with 95% marks from last year stands a much better chance of getting in than someone with 85% from this year, without facing any score deductions or penalties for dropping a year.

Yes, you can totally start applying to some private B.Com colleges in Kolkata before your 12th results are out by registering on their portals under a "Result Awaited" status, but you can't actually lock in your seat until your official marks drop. Think of it like booking a spot in line—colleges like St. Xavier's might let you fill out your basic personal information early, but because their whole selection system is a pure merit game based on your Class 12 percentage, they will literally wait for you to log back in and upload your final marksheet before they put you on any cutoff list. So, keep an eye on the official college websit
