The accepted entrance exam for admission to BCom (Hons), Hindu College, is CUET. CUET is typically conducted in the month of May. It is conducted in online (CBT) mode, once each year. In 2024, the exam was conducted over a testing period of 15 days, starting May 15, 2024. The result for the same is expected to be announced by the end of June. The registrations for the exam started in February and continued till April 2024.

The minimum percentage required for admission to the BCom (Hons) course offered by Hindu college is 50% for candidates belonging to the general category. For candidates belonging to the reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC), the required percentage in Class 12 is at least 45%. Additionally, the candidates must have studied either one of the two following subject combinations in Class 12:
- List A languages + Mathematics/Applied Mathematics, and at least one subject from List B1
- At least one subject from List B1 + Accountancy/Book Keeping, and any one language from List A
