For taking admission in BE/BTech course at Hirasugar Institute of Technology - HSIT, studnets have to score a valid score in COMEDK or KCET exam. The college admits studnets based on score in these exams.

For taking admission into BE/BTech programme at Hirasugar Institute of Technology- HSIT, canfdidates should have passed Class 12 with English as one of the Languages and obtained a minimum of 45% of marks in aggregate in Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry / Bio-Technology/ Biology/ Electronics/ Computer Science. Practically speaking there is no difference between these two degrees. Both connote degree in engineering.

  Normally speaking IIT's or NIT's award B Tech while Govt Universiies acoss India award BE. Its a mis conception that B Tech means more hands on training than BE. But its not so. Both these degrees have equal weigtage in job market.
