To get into BE course of CARE College of Engineering, candidates must have minimum 45% aggregate in Class 12 with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry and appear for TNEA entrance exam. At the time of selection round, the college releases a merit list based on their score in the entrance exam.

The DY Patil Akurdi cutoff for the B.E. in computer engineering in 2023 was 35755, which is less than the 2022 cutoff of 40075, which was also less than the 2021 cutoff of 82260.

Applicants must have passed their 10+2 (or equivalent) exam with math, chemistry, and physics as required courses. A minimum cumulative score of 50% in mathematics, chemistry, and physics was required of candidates. The TNEA counselling process, which considers your 12th standard marks, is the main factor determining admission. TNEA admission examinations are not distinct exams. Applicants with valid scores on admission exams such as JEE Main may also be taken into consideration on occasion.
