Hello Farha,
Yes, you can still think of pursuing your BEd even if you have not undergone any teacher training programme. In fact BEd in itself is a teacher training course as one gets employment as teacher after doing this course.

Hi,
The minimum qualification required for entry into B.Ed. course is Bachelor of Arts (B.A), Bachelor of Science (B.Sc. ) or Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com. ) form a recognised board/university with at least 50% marks. So you can't apply for this course.

The eligibility for B.Ed at IGNOU is at least fifty percent marks either in the Bachelor's degree and/or in Master's in Sciences/Social Sciences/Commerce/Humanity. Bachelors in Engineering or Technology with a specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks or any other qualification equivalent thereto.

Hi. The minimum duration for B.Ed through distance education is two years, however, the maximum duration five years. Admission to the distance mode programme is merit-based. Candidates should have scored a minimum of 50% aggregate in the undergraduate programme in any discipline and 55% in postgraduate programme. So, you are eligible. Thanks!

Hello Sarmistha,
At least 50% marks either in the Bachelor's Degree or in the Master's Degree in Science / Commerce/ Social Science is required. Humanity and Bachelor's in Engineering or Technology with Specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks or any other qualification equivalent is also eligible for admission to the programme.
