completed bachelor's degree in any stream (Arts, Science or Commerce) with 50-55% aggregate marks at the UG level.

Karnataka State Open University B.Ed admission criteria are merit-based. Students looking to join the institute need to have completed a Bachelor's degree with a minimum aggregate of 50% from a recognised university. Further, in-service teachers of elementary (primary) education who have completed any degree from a recognised university are also eligible for B.Ed admission at KSOU Mysore.

Ganga Institute of Education B.Ed eligibility criteria require candidates to complete the last qualifying examination from a recognised university. Admissions to the programme are purely merit-based. One must fulfil any of the following criteria to get into the B.Ed course at Ganga Institute of Education:

  • Students who have completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Sciences/ Social Sciences/Humanities/ BBA/ MBA with a minimum aggregate of 50% ( 47.5% for reserved categories)
  • B.E/ BTech with specialisation in Science and Mathematics/ BCA/ MCA with a minimum aggregate of 55% (52.5% for reserved categories)
