B.Ed should follow a degree. It is altogether a different degree programme.

The minimum qualification required for entry into B.Ed course is Bachelor of Arts (BA), Bachelor of Science (B.Sc ) or Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com ) form a recognized board/university with at least 50% marks.

Procedure: The admission to the B.Ed programme shall be based on the merit obtained by the candidate in the qualifying examination i.e., at the graduation level. No entrance test shall be conducted for admission to the B.Ed programme. The course structure for B.Ed programme through Distance mode is a NCTE based Model approved curriculum by Board of Studies.
Course eligibility:
Candidates having passed minimum three years Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from a recognized University with 50% marks (for General Category) and 45% marks (for Reserved Category) are eligible to apply.
