Ganga Institute of Education, also known as GIE Kablana, is a private teacher education institute which was established in 2007 in Jhajjar by the Ganga Group of Institutions. The Institute is approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under Section 2(f) of the UGC Act, 1956. It is affiliated to Maharshi Dayanand University (MDU), Rohtak. At present, it runs under the Pawan Ganga Educational Society.
Currently, the Institute offers B.Ed and MEd programmes at the UG and PG levels, respectively. The Institute also offers internship opportunities to B.Ed students at the District of concerned College of Education for the duration of 15 weeks. It also has a placement cell that offers placements and internship opportunities to its students. The Institute has more than 15 permanent faculty members.
The Institute comprises four major laboratories, namely Psychology Lab, Computer Lab, Education Technology Lab and Science Lab. The campus also has a Library and Information Centre where all activities like lending of books, purchase of books, lending of audio-visual material, book bank, etc., are computerised. It consists of more than 16,000 books and a subscription of 19 different journals.
