MA/M.Sc. or BA (Hons)/ B.Sc. (Hons) with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks is required for B.Ed. So, you can apply.

Yes, you can get admission for B.Ed, but you need to have minimum 50% marks to get admission in reputed college.

It is always good to go for a college which is NCTE approved. The main objective of the NCTE is to achieve planned and coordinated development of the teacher education system throughout the country, the regulation and proper maintenance of Norms and Standards in the teacher education system and for matters connected therewith.

You can go for B.Ed after your B.Tech. Eligibility criteria for B.Ed in most of the top universities is to pass with 55% aggregate marks in B.Tech, or BE with specialization in Science and Mathematics, rest it may vary with the university you choose.
Benefits of doing B.Ed are that you can work as: Secondary school teachers, Educational Counsellors, Educational Entrepreneurs, School Administrators, Free lancers, Free Lance Trainers, Instructional Designers etc.
The major factors while selecting the University for pursuing B.Ed are good placements and which offers you good practical and industrial exposure like:
