The IGNOU BEd is conducted across multiple exam centers across, covering major cities. Candidates can select their preferred exam center while filling out the application form, but the final allotment depends on availability. The exact exam center details will be mentioned on the IGNOU BEd admit card. It's recommended to visit the center a day before the exam to avoid last-minute confusion and delays on the exam day.

To prepare for the exam, candidates must first go through the detailed syllabus and create a list of topics they feel comfortable and those which are difficult. Based on this differentiation, they must create a tome table and start their preparations. Each section tests both conceptual understanding and practical knowledge of candidates and it's important to prepare subject-wise. No, there is no negative marking in the Bihar B.Ed CET meaning candidates can attempt all the questions to maximize their scores. However, it is advisable to read each question carefully before answering to avoid careless errors. This lack of penalty provides an excellent opportunity to make educated guesses when unsure about the correct answer.
