Apart from Dr Br Ambedkar Open University's B.Ed course, the University also offers a B.Ed (Special Education) course. BRAOU offers B.Ed (Special Education) course across three specialisations which can be chosen at the time of admission as per interest and seat availability. Unlike the regular B.Ed course, BRAOU Special B.Ed course is offered for a minimum duration of two-and-a-half years, and a maximum of five years.

In order to get selected for the B.Ed course, candidates first need to fill in the application form of the desired college or university they wish to study. They can also look for the B.Ed entrance examination and apply, if they qualify it, they will get selected for any of the participating colleges as per the counseling. Before applying, students need to ensure that they need to meet the minimum eligibility criteria. The education qualification is a graduation degree from any stream, the minimum age limit is 21 years and state TET exams also ask for state domicile documents.

The marking scheme of the JKBOPEE B.Ed Entrance Exam consists of the marks allotted per question as well as the total marks and negative markings. Students who plan to take this exam need to make sure that they are very well versed in the marking scheme this will help them know which sections to attempt and after completing the exam they can speculate their qualification chances.

The results for the Jammu B.Ed Entrance Exam can be checked from its official website jkbopee.gov.in as the exam conducting authority declares it there. As soon as the Jammu Kashmir BOPEE declares the Jammu & Kashmir B.Ed 2024 result, students can click on the link on its official page and log in to check their score and rank or download the pdf. The results will also be sent to the students via email or SMS on their registered email address or mobile number.

The minimum eligibility criteria required to apply for the JKBOPEE B.Ed. the entrance test is a graduation degree from any stream. Along with this, there are certain other eligibility criteria that candidates need to follow for JKBOPEE such as they must have valid residence proof of the union territory of Jammu & Kashmir or Ladakh, and their minimum age is 21 years.

The J&K BEd entrance exam is conducted by the Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Examination. It is conducted once a year for admission of qualified candidates into its B.Ed program. Along with this, the exam conducting authority Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Examination also conducts several other examinations like the Jammu and Kashmir Common Entrance Test (JKCET), Diploma Programmes in Polytechnics, Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing, Para Medical Diploma Courses (12th Based), BSc Nursing/ParaMedical/Technology etc.

No, its not compulsory . As some of the college / universities give admission on  merit basis only while others conduct entrance exam  to give some relaxation in fees. This totally depends on the state where you want to pursue B.Ed.
