Yes, you can apply for B.Ed at this age. The criteria is the you must have a bachelor’s or master’s degree and have passed the test with a minimum of 50% (45% for SC/ST/OBC/PWD).

You can select any university to apply for B.Ed program, just check the eligibility criteria first and then register yourself by visiting the official website of that university, fill out the application form, and prepare yourslef for the entrance exam.

Many brilliant maths teachers I know are qualified engineers.

The reason they teach is passion. It is always better to do something you are passionate about and you'd be able to do it better. Of course, some training in pedagogy is helpful.Yes, you can become a maths teacher with an electrical engineering degree and . now, to teach, you also need to complete your B.Ed along with B.E/B.Tech.
