The application portal for B.Ed courses at KJ Somaiaya School of Education is currently open for the academic batch 2025. Moreover, as of now the last date to fill out the application form for round four selection is August 31, 2025. Therefore, candidates must apply for the course before the deadline for filling out the application form because the institute offers a limited number of seats in the B.Ed. course.

For admission to the B.Ed. course at KJ Somaiya School of Education, the college conducts the interview process several times for an academic batch. For last year, the dates for PI rounds for the B.Ed course were as given below:

Application Dates Interview Dates

The primary eligibility criteria required by the college to get admission into B.Ed at  KJ Somaiya School of Education is that candidates must complete their UG/PG degree with a minimum aggregate of 50% to 55%. Moreover, for the admission/selection process, the college accepts the relevant scores from MAH-B.Ed-CET, CUET, PERA B.Ed-CET, or any other state-level B.Ed CET, followed by a PI.

Yes,  KJ Somaiya College of Education does offer B.Ed courses for the duration of two years, divided into four semesters, and offered in full-time mode. The eligibility requirements for admissions to B.Ed courses are that candidates must complete their bachelor's degree/master's degree from a recognised university with an aggregate of 50%. The field of History/ Geography/ Economics/ Political Sciences/ Psychology/ Philosophy/ Education/ Library.

Or 55% marks in Bachelor's Degree in Management/ Engineering/ Computers/ Law/ Information Technology/ Agriculture/ BBI/ Medical Sciences/ Fine Arts/ Performing Arts (Music/ Dance/ Drama etc

A written admission exam is used by the university to create a shortlist of applicants. Shortlisted candidates are contacted for counseling and document verification following the conclusion of the selection rounds. In order to confirm their admission, candidates must pay the course fee. In order to apply for the B.Ed programme, candidates must also have completed a their Bachelors with at least 55% aggregate or equivalent.
