Advantages of doing B.Sc Biotechnology
The major advantage of doing a B.Sc Course in this subject is that the course duration is short, when compared to a BE /B.Tech Programme. B.Sc course takes 3 years to complete, whereas BE /B.Tech. Programme takes 4 years. Another advantage is relatively low saturation level in this field. From facts and figures, it is quite evident that B.Sc Biotechnology is not a very popular professional course among class 12th Science students. Eligibility varies from university to university. Also, these days universities are offer B.Tech in Biotech, which is better than B.Sc. As it is a professional degree whereas B.Sc. Is just a general degree. Many good private universities like VIT, LPU, SRM, etc. are offering admissions in B.Tech. These private universities offer admission on the basis of tests like JEE and their own tests. Some offer you direct admission too on the basis of your marks in previous qualifying exam.
