The eligibility criteria for B.Sc programs at Mahatma Jyoti Rao Phoole University is that you should have completed your 10+2 (Higher Secondary Education) examination from a recognised board of education. There is of 5% wave off for SC/ST candidates.
Some B.Sc (Hons.) programs have eligibility criteria of 10+2 (e.g., B.Sc. Hons. Zoology might require a minimum percentage in Biology).

To get admitted into Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Khalsa College for B.Sc you must appear in Common University Entrance Test (CUET) exam conducted by NTA and clear the cut off decided by the university and must have a passed Class 12 with a minimum 40% aggregate.
The College is a recognised Sikh Minority Educational Institution with 50% of the seats reserved for the Sikh candidates.

The Heritage College BSc admission 2025 is merit based. Candidates who want to take admission to the BSc Honours programme must meet the minimum eligibility requirement. Candidates who have passed the Class 12 Board examination of the Council of Higher Secondary Education, West Bengal or equivalent and who have studied English as one of the subjects at Class 12 can apply the BSc Honours programme offered at The Heritage College.

No, it won't be a problem. You should have obtained at least 50% in the qualifying degree exam. Backlogs will not affect your enrollment for the Entrance examination. I got 6 backlogs in my previous semester (5th semester), and I think I will get 2 or 3 backlogs this semester also.
