Hi,
In order to become a lecturer in any recognized university in India , one needs to fulfill the following eligibility criteria:
1. Must have passed Masters Degree examination from a recognized university in the subject you would like to teach.
2. Must have scored a minimum of 55% marks in the masters degree examination.
3. Must have qualified National Eligibility Test for Lectureship conducted by University Grant Commission mainly to recruit research assistants and professors in various streams of education.
Qualifying Examination:
The candidates those who have completed their post graduation in related subjects from any recognized university are eligible for applying UGC-NET exam. The candidate must have a minimum of 55%.

A good mentor and wise selection of courses with a good school, followed by diligent learning, would get you a head start in your career. However, you must check your suitability for this field. Animation is an art form and a very demanding career. It has ample opportunities for the creatively talented people. Opportunities lie in animation design, game design, graphics, storyboarding, 3d modelling, texturing and lighting, Dynamics and VFX and of course animation (2D and 3D). However, choosing between these must be done after seeing your performance in each of these. So going for a generic course covering all or most of these would be the best way to get started in these careers. Typically you should have good sketching skills to be able to make a sound career in this (if you work hard you can improve your drawing skills tremendously). Nothing but your innermost talent and passion should lead you to the course and the institute you choose. Go speak to people over there and see if you like their philosophy and they change your perspective.Try their website for more details. Also remember that Animation requires good mentoring. AMIE stands for Associate Member of the Institution of Engineers. A unique program wherein you can attain an engineering degree, if you have lost the opportunity to do so earlier.

To pursue AMIE, you should posses at least one of the following eligibility criteria mentioned below :
- Should be at least 18 years or above.
- The person should have undertaken and passed the 3 year Diploma conducted by the IEI or any related branch of Engineering or technology or any other related field.
- He or She should possess a diploma or certificate equaling to the above and obtained by a recognized educational body.
- Should have passed +2/HSC/pre degree/PDC with subjects taken being Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and a minimum of a passing rate of 45%.
- Students who posses other similar qualifications that are not clarified above may contact the institute for further information regarding enrollment.

* To pursue B.E. / B.Tech :
- You need to complete 12th with minimum 60% (Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry) from recognized board to join good college. However, there are colleges which take students who have scored 45% - 50%.
- Your age must be between 17-23 years.
- You need to appear in entrance exam.

To be eligible for West Bengal Civil Services Exam :
1) You need to pass a degree from a recognized University.
2) You need to know how to read, write and speak in Bengali (not required for recruitment in the case of candidates from hill areas of the district Darjeeling i.e. for Nepali speaking candidates)
3) Your age should not be below 21 years but not more than 32 years on the 1st January of the year of examination for services and posts included in Group 'A','C' and 'D'. For the West Bengal Police Service only (i.e. Group 'B' Service) age not below 20 years but not more than 32 years on the 1st January of the year of examination.
If you fulfill the criteria mentioned above, you may sit for the West Bengal Civil Services Exam.
