Hello Manish,
Biomedical and microbiology, both similar sounding names! In today's world, both these subjects are required and are expected to do well in future. Hence it's futile to compare. However what is your passion? What you like? Just follow this and you would be happy.

If admission date is over then you can't do much now for this college. Try other colleges where admission is still going on, it would be better not to waste one year for a specific college. It is the subject that matters more than a college if you are keen on studying microbiology.

Pharmacy and microbiology are two different fields. A pharma student can continue only in pharmacy while a microbiology graduate after M.Sc in biochemistry can work at the same post as a pharmacy candidates in most of the places. So choose according to your will.

68% falls short if you are considering to get admission by merit. But this score makes you eligible for entrance examinations for this course so apart from applying to maximum no of colleges prepare for entrances as well . Hope it helps all the best
