IIT Kanpur BSc placements 2024 have not been concluded by the institute yet. However, according to media reports, a total of 989 offers were made during 2023-24 (Phase-one) placements. IIT Kanpur BSc average package for the placed graduates during 2023-24 (phase one) stood at INR 26.27 LPA.
NOTE: In the absence of the BSc-specific placements, overall placement data has been taken released by the institute.

Around 40-50% of students got placed in our course.
The highest salary package offered is 5 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 2.3 LPA. Many government and private schools visit their college for hiring the students. Many reputable companies visit the campus for recruitment drives. It's essential to maintain a good academic record and actively participate in extracurricular activities to enhance your chances during placements. Institute of Home Economics Median Package stood at INR 2.86 LPA.

VIT Chennai BSc median package for the year 2022 offered to the graduates as disclosed in the NIRF report 2023 was INR 3.82 LPA. Out of the 652 total students, 132 students from the UG programme got placed. Some of the major recruiters participated in the placement process include Amazon, PwC, Wipro, Infosys, Capgemini etc.

Based on ‘Verified Students Reviews’ on Shiksha, BSc students of Kalyani University provide a mixed bag of reviews for BSc placements. Many reviews suggest that around 60% students get placed across different specialisations. IIT Roorkee concluded its Phase-2 placements in the month of April. However, BSc courses specific data is not available. In terms of overall UG placements, IIT Roorkee was able to provide good placements to its students. According to media reports, 23 international and in total 802 offers were grabbed during Phase-1 placements. Databricks offered a salary package of INR 2.05 crore per annum to a student during the first phase of IIT Roorkee placements 2023-24. Further, a total of 172 companies visited the campus. According to multiple media reports, a total of 700 placement offers were made on the first day of IIT Kharagpur 2024 placements. Further, students of IIT Kharagpur received more than 19 international offers. Importantly, 6 offers with a package of more than INR 1 crore per annum were offered to IIT Kharagpur students. Over 61 companies offered various job roles to students, mainly in Finance, Banking, Analytics, Software, Core Engineering and Consulting sectors.
