B.Sc. Agriculture program helps the students to recognize the elements of agriculture. Most of the government and private institutes are offering the program. The agriculture sector is contributing well to our economy. Therefore, the demand for this sector is also improving. India is an agrarian country but the techniques are not up to date in this sector. The agriculture sector is improving day by day. Some of them are the use of advanced fertilizers for the development of crops and the ways to improve the current methods of agriculture with advanced technology.

You can find many job opportunities after completing B.Sc Botany (hons). You can work in many biotechnology firms, involve in Botanical surveys, Cosmetic companies, etc. You can join as florist, farming consultants, environment consultant in farm management organizations, floricultures, horticultures. * You need to study the whole course as there is no lateral MBBS course available.
* To be eligible for MBBS :
- One needs to pass 12th in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English with minimum 60% .
- One should have completed 17 years of age on or before 31st day of December of the year of admission.
- One needs to sit for entrance exam such as AIIMS Entrance Exam, NEET, MPPMT, HP Combined Pre Medical Entrance Test etc.
