BSc IT is a basic graduation degree equivalent to BCA with more emphasis on Computer Science theory. You can start your IT career in IT industry with BSc IT as junior developer or tester with small companies as major IT companies prefer BTech CS. You will be required to do MSc for good career opportunities.

IBM Mainframe courses offer opportunity to program on Mainframe. Course content is concepts on MVS, JCL, VSAM , CICI , DB2,COBOL etc . There is shortage of Mainframe programmers as Computer Science graduates want to work on new technologies of Java and Microsoft etc. Majority of training Institutes provide training on only simulated environment. If you plan to do Mainframe training select an Institute which provides hands on training on Mainframe. You can do course after BSc Maths easily.

After bsc you can apply for state and central govt jobs. All jobs that demand graduation.
Bsc and Msc jobs depend upon streams.
Else if you have bsc and msc plain you can be a teacher or a faculty of colleges. Rest is all about enhancing skills and getting experience.
