It depends upon your career goals. You can get jobs in banking, teaching, data entry, and government jobs after B.Sc., but for the majority of high-paying technical roles, further specialisation is required. An M.Sc. enhances job prospects in research, academics, IT, and industrial sectors. For UPSC, SSC, or police services, B.Sc. is sufficient. Yeah, an M.Sc in Biochemistry can be pursued after B.Sc in a general stream; however, the prescribed eligibility criteria may be set preliminarily by the respective institutions. In general, most candidates in universities must have attained a minimum aggregate of 50% in their undergraduate degree; normally, relevant subjects should include one Chemistry or Biology subject.
