Rather, admissions are held on the basis of the entrance exam of JIPMER or according to the institute's admission policy. Applicants should have a 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Botany/Zoology, and English as core subjects. The selection process normally consists of an online entrance examination followed by counseling. Yes, in Hyderabad, some colleges offer B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture programs with admission options beyond the conventional entrance exams. Notably Professor Jayashankar Telangana State Agricultural University (PJTSAU) accepts students through a Special Quota (formerly known as the Self-Financing Quota). This option enables students who have not acquired seats through standard counseling to receive admission by paying a higher cost. For the academic year 2024-25 PJTSAU has awarded seats under this quota among numerous colleges including the College of Agriculture in Rajendranagar, Hyderabad which has an intake of 145 students.
