Admission to the course is mostly entrance exam based. KEAM, EAMCET are a few entrance exams conducted for admission to the course. There are 42 State Agricultural Universities (SAUs), 1 Central Agricultural University (CAU), 5 Deemed Universities (DUs) and 4 general Central Universities with Agriculture faculty in India. These institutions provide admission at UG level in 11 disciplines and about 15,000 students get enrolled every year. All these courses cater to different branches of merchant navy but the eligibility criteria remains the same and following are the eleigbility criteria for the courses.
The candidate must be physically and mentally fit, as they have to go through a medical exam.
Candidate must have a 6/6 eyesight in each of his eyes sepratley or before joining he or she can get a lasik before joining the course.
Candidate should not have color blindness.

I would suggest you to start your career as a B.Sc Graduate, then go for any reputed universities (JNU, DU, BHU, and Madras University) instead of choosing a dual M.Sc degree. Then try to clear the competitive exams like CSIR, UGC. Few of the specialized fields to pursue Physics in Post Graduate programme are -
