Yes. But, first know about psychology branch and if you choose it as a career option, then there is limited career options in psychology.
Good institute is defined by your placements in an organization which specifically deals with behavioral health- physiological and psychological.

Both the courses are related to genetic engineering and if you choose biotechnology as a
BSC course, then there are better opportunities.
It also includes application in therapeutics; diagnostic; genetically modified crops for agricultural, bioremediation, energy production, etc.

Hi,
Admission and eligibility criteria:
If you are interested for admission in bachelor courses, you have to complete higher secondary examination with physics, chemistry and biology. The duration of this course is three years. Some colleges also conduct an aptitude test for admission in B.Sc genetics degree course.
To get admissions in master courses, you must have done a Bachelor's degree in the relevant field from any recognized college or university. Some institutions also give admission in genetic courses on the basis of the merit list of the qualifying examination.

You should go with B.Sc because you will learn about computers which is very important for future and you will get enough time to prepare for IAS.

Hi Koushik,
Complete your 10+2 with very good grades. Take your SAT and TOEFL before applying to Bachelor's degree programmes in the US. Every university has different entry requirements. Also, every programme has different admission norms. I will suggest you visit university websites and do some research on what they require, prepare accordingly. Check this

IITs do not offer B.Sc maths degree course. However, some IITs offer integrated M.Sc courses in science subjects and maths. Admission to integrated M.Sc courses is by JEE Advanced score.
