The course is called BJMC - Bachelors of journalism and mass communication. You can do this with any stream in 11th and 12th. But yes, English is must a core language. Do this from good college where job placements are good. All the best.

If you are sure that you will be getting 110 marks then you should wait till the commencement of JEE Advanced. Prepare for Advanced, a crash course might help you for the same. All India ranks will be announced in the month of June on the basis of which admission will be given to top NITs and state government colleges. All the best.

B.Tech gives you technical degree and B.Sc gives you only an education degree. Also, if you get admission in a good private college for B.Tech then might probably get placement after 4 years if you study well in college.
