The Electronics Engineering syllabus for the BTech degree is not the same across all colleges. Every college prefers to follow an individual coursework module that includes both theory classes and practical lab work. While core subjects and fundamental concepts might be similar, the structure, electives offered, and laboratory and project work are different.

The selection criteria for admission to the B Tech Electronics Engineering course involves both entrance exam scores and Class 12 board exam marks. A majority of the top-ranked colleges prefer valid entrance exam scores like JEE Main, JEE Advanced, Andhra Pradesh EAMCET, MHT CET, etc.
Having said that, there are more than 450 BTech Electronics engineering colleges that give admission on the basis of Class 12 merit and often end up taking extra rounds like the GD or PI to test the capability of the students.

It depends on the college you are planning to take admission to. Every college and university in India have their own set of admission rules that they follow for admitting students to Electronics Engineering courses at various levels. The admission process can take a few weeks to a few months for completion. There are a lot of formalities before you are given the final seat and your admission is confirmed so you must stay calm during the entire process and keep an eye on all important colleges' announcements by checking their websites every day.
