IIIT Hyderabad admission to the BTech intergrated courses is based on candidates' performance in the IIITH UGEE entrance exam. For the General AI category students, the last round cutoff ranks ranged between 83 and 255. Of all the courses, the most competitive for admission was B.Tech.+ M.S. The BTech in Marine Engineering develops the understanding of the creation, operation, and maintenance of buildings and vehicles in and around water bodies. After completing graduation, students can either opt for further studies or build their career path by working in Marine companies. The popular job prospects after BTech Marine Engineering are Logistics Executive, Transport and Distribution Manager, Warehouse Manager, GM Commercial, etc. The average package for Marine Engineering candidates is between INR 3 LPA and INR 10 LPA.

The university will provide two months of corporate internship during MBA phase. The placement aspects are excellent and the highest salary is about 18 LPA and the median salary is about 9.5 LPA. 

The first-year fee is about Rs 2,43,200.

The cutoff trend for B.Tech at IIT Delhi - Indian Institute of Technology has been increasing in the recent years. In 2022, the closing rank for B.Tech. under general category for all India quota was 102. In 2023, it increased to 118. Likewise, the cut off ranks have changed from 87 to 105 for OBC, 34 to 49 for SC, 18 to 24 for ST, 28 to 34 for EWS, 8 to 9 for PWD. This trend is likely to continue in the coming years, as the demand for engineering education in India continues to grow. Similar cut off trend can be seen for female candidates under all categories however the ranks are slightly different.
