Jadavpur University has maintained good placement records. According to reports, the highest international package offered during Jadavpur University placement 2024 (Engineering and Technology department) stood at INR 140 LPA. The average package received by Engineering students during JU placement 2024 was INR 11 LPA. 830 students were placed out of 913 registered Engineering students in 2024.
Further, the highest domestic package in 2024 was INR 57 LPA. The placement rate recorded for top Engineering branch such as CSE, IT and Chemical was 97%, 96% and 90%, respectively.

BTech CSE has the most competitive cut-off, the 2021 cut off in round six for CSE stood at 2897. Moreover, the placement statistics of CSE graduates is also better among all the specialisations. During 2022 placements, the median and average package offered to BTech CSE students was INR 28.7 LPA and INR 28 LPA, respectively.

Admission to the BTech programme at IIT Jodhpur is based on performance in the all-India level Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main), followed by JEE Advanced. Based on JEE Advanced score, candidates need to take part in JoSAA counselling. Candidates can apply on the JEE official website (nta.ac.in). Candidates who secure a rank more than or equal to the IITJ BTech cutoff become eligible for admission.

IIT Mandi BTech admission is entirely entrance-based. Students need to appear for the JEE Main exam, secure a valid rank and become eligible for JEE Advanced exam. Candidates who secure a valid rank in JEE Advanced need to participate in JoSAA Counselling for seat allotment. Additionally, rank and cut-off of JEE Advanced score decide the admission status of a student.

Yes, the institute offers a four-year integrated BTech-MTech course. The dual degree course is offered in only one specialisation, i.e., Bioengineering. Admission to this course is also done through JEE Advanced score, followed by JoSAA counselling. There are a total of 28 seats available for this course at IIT Mandi. This seat count is as per official website/ sanctioning body. It is still subject to revision and hence, is indicative.
