The Placements in Dy Patil College Of Engineering For BE in Civil Engineering is satisfactory, with most of the student got hired by many Companies such as Ambuja Cement,etc. with a minimum of 4.5LPA. And the highest package offered was of 8.75 LPA in DY Patil in Campus Placement. So if you want to take admission, you can take here, it will assure you a Job in Civil Engineers Sector. As the percentage of Civil Engineering in DY Patil is about 65% of Placement in Civil Engineering Branch.

Candidate who have passed HSC i.e., 10+2 in any one of the Vocational Subject (Basic Mechanical Engineering/ Basic Electrical Engineering/ Basic Electronics Engineering/ Basic Civil Engineering/ Basic Automobile Engineering/ Textile Technology) with any one of the Engineering related subjects namely Mathematics, Physics or Chemistry with above mentioned minimum average percentage put together are also eligible to apply.

For last year, the closing rank for BTech in Textile Technology was 73555 which is very close to this range. This was for the general category under the All India quota. Unless the candidate belongs to some other category or domicile, one cannot afford to score less than this. With this rank, there is a probability of getting admission however since, the cut-offs keep changing year on year, it's advisable to try to score better ranks to increase your chances of getting admission to NIT Jalandhar - Dr B R Ambedkar National Institute of Technology.

The last year's 2022 cutoff ranks for B.Tech. in Textile Technology at NIT Jalandhar - Dr B R Ambedkar National Institute of Technology other than General category are - 84768 for OBC, 157381 for SC, 269198 for ST, 81788 for EWS. While the admissions are based on the scores/rank obtained in JEE exam, the last cut-offs also change a lot depending on the All India quota or Home State. It also varies if the applicant is a female.

The last year's 2022 cutoff ranks for B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering at NIT Jalandhar - Dr B R Ambedkar National Institute of Technology other than General category are - 51527 for OBC, 112945 for SC, 182909 for ST, 44693 for EWS, 1761 for PWD. While the admissions are based on the scores/rank obtained in JEE exam, the last cut-offs also change a lot depending on the All India quota or Home State. Opening and Closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For the general category under All India, the opening rank was 27510 and the closing rank was 43133. Cut off are different when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even the domicile of the home state. In All India, the opening and closing rank for female candidates was 40305 and 57969. NIT Jalandhar - Dr B R Ambedkar National Institute of Technology will release 6-8 rounds of JEE Main cutoffs for admission to B.Tech. The cutoffs will be released on a rolling basis, and the seats will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. The cutoffs will be based on the following factors:
- The JEE Main score of the candidate
- The category of the candidate
- The number of seats available in the course
