The mode of IIIT Manipur admission is primarily online. IIIT Manipur course admissions are entrance-based. The institute offers the BTech programme at the UG level and the PhD programme at the doctoral level.

The cutoff data below is for the general AI quota for both the first and last rounds. JoSAA counselling was conducted up to 5 rounds. After JoSAA, two additional rounds were conducted by CSAB to fill the vacant seats.

Yes, IIIT Manipur is a good college. The college offers placement assistance to students. According to the verified Shiksha reviewer, "Labs are extremely good; there are all kinds of labs, like computer labs, VLSI signal and system labs, etc. You can compare the quality in a computer lab. You will get computers with 32GB of RAM and Intel i7 processors. The library and mess are average. The hostel and canteens are good; we are getting 27x7 electricity and there is Wi-Fi with normal speed." Hence it is a good college.

As such there is no bad thing about the college but there are certain areas where the college can show improvement such as infrastructure. As compared with other IIITs, the infrastructure of this college must be improved which the college is trying to do. This can be seen in the various modern facilities that the college has started offering.
The mess food at IIIT Manipur is good as the mess committee is handled by the students themselves. We have non-veg two to three days a week and for vegetarians Paneer is provided on those days. There are 4 meals a day which includes breakfast, lunch, evening snacks and dinner. Curd and salads are provided most of the days. The food is made with maintaining proper hygiene.

The college life is good and the college has regular extra curricular activies. Most of the festivals are celebrated. Moreover we have different clubs like literature club, coding club, sports club etc. There are sports events too. Last time to get out of hostel is 7:30pm. There are a lot of cafes near the college and are great places to hang out.

If you've got 90 percentile in JEE and you're OBC, then yep, IIIT Manipur is definitely in the picture for CSE. Their cutoffs for OBC hover around 90–92 percentile most years, so you're right there. Just don't skip the later JoSAA rounds, they're lowkey your best shot. Keep a couple backup colleges
