BTech placements at Amity University Kolkata can be considered good, as the highest placements package offered by the university to BTech students ranges around INR 32.51 LPA and was made by Amazon. The university has its own placements department i.e., the Amity Centre for Career Development (ACCD) is staffed by seasoned industry professionals who understand the various employment markets. However, the placements for BTech courses might vary from Amity University campus to campus.

Amity JEE (Amity Joint Entrance Examination) is an entrance exam conducted by Amity University for admissions to BTech programmes offered by Amity University. Amity JEE was held in a computer-based test across various cities in the country. The questions were based on the Class 12 syllabus including Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (PCM) and English or Physics, Chemistry, Biology (PCB) and English.
