The entrance exam for the B Tech Mechanical Engineering course is very competitive given the popularity and demand of the engineering specialisation among students. Top colleges often witness a large number of applications every year, with relatively limited seats, making the admission cutoffs quite high. So, you need to prepare really well to score outstanding marks and rank in the exam to get into top colleges, including the IITs and NITs.
