This range is extremely near to the cut off rank of 6169 for the B.Tech. programme in Metallurgical & Materials Engineering in Round 6. This was under the All India Quota for the general category. You cannot afford to receive a lower score than this unless the candidate falls into a different category or is a different resident. There is a chance of being admitted with this rank, but as the cutoffs vary every round, getting in at a higher rank will undoubtedly boost your chances of being admitted to the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.

Undergraduate students can pursue a four-year, full-time BTech programme at IIT Delhi. All admission to the BTech programme at IIT Delhi is by entrance. Candidates who qualify for JEE Main will be admitted to IIT Delhi for a BTech programme based on their JEE Advanced scores. The cutoff for NIT Srinagar's BTech Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) programme differs each year.
