The required documents during the B.E/B.Tech application process at the Institute of Science and Technology can be categorised into 5 categories. The first one is academic documents where Class 10 and 12th marksheet and certificate is required, a Diploma certificate is also required when applying via lateral entry. The second category is entrance exam documents, where one needs to submit the WBJEE/JEE MAIN/ JELET admit card as well as the rank card or scorecard. The third category is personal identification, where any valid government ID and password-sized photographs are required. The next category is Category and another certificate ( if applicable), which may include caste, domicile, PWD, or income certificate. The last one is another certificate which may include a School leaving certificate or transfer certificate, migration certificate and anti-ragging certificate.
