To secure admission to the B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at SASTRA University, a strong JEE Main score is crucial. A general rule of thumb is to aim for a rank below 500 in either Stream 1 (JEE + 12th) or Stream 2 (12th alone) to have a good chance of getting CSE. However, the specific cut-off varies year to year.

For B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering at Shiv Nadar University, candidates typically need a strong performance in JEE Main or an equivalent entrance exam (like SAT, CUET, or SNUSAT). For JEE Main, a score of 90% or above is generally considered competitive for CSE, while a score of 80% or above may allow for direct admission, but the university may still require a SNUSAT + APT test. Minimum percentage requirements for class 12th board exams also apply, with specific thresholds based on the board (CBSE/ISC, IB, CIE, etc.).

For B.Tech. in Computer Science (Artificial Intelligence) at Banasthali Vidyapith, there isn't a specific, pre-defined cutoff score. However, a strong academic record, particularly above 80% in the 10+2 board exams, is a significant advantage for getting into the Computer Science (AI) program. Admission is based on the Banasthali University Aptitude Test (BUAT) and subsequent counseling.
