For seat allocation at DU, students are required to lock their college and course preferences after the result is out. Delhi University will consider normalised scores provided by NTA to calculate the merit scores as per programme specific eligibility. The highest possible preference will be provisionally allocated to the candidates considering the following
criteria:

  • Program-Specific merit
  • Category of the students (UR/ OBC-NCL/ SC/ ST/ EWS/ Minority)
  • Availability of seats
  • Any other allocation rules, policies, or criteria citied by (CSAS (UG)- 2025) or University of Delhi

The University of Delhi (DU) has announced the undergraduate admission schedule for 2023-24 academic year. DU is accepting admissions through the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) on the basis of the Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate (CUET UG). The first phase of DU CSAS registration started on June 14. The second phase started on Jul 17 and closed on Jul 25. This followed by the release of DU first CSAS Allocation List 2023 on August 1. Before the CUET counselling process for DU will even begin, it is necessary that aspirants opt for DU during CUET form filling and later apply on the CSAS portal to be eligible for admission. The admission process after CUET result declaration is explained below:

Step 1: After the declaration of the CUET UG exam, register on the DU CSAS portal in multiple phases.

Step 2: Submit College + Course combination preferences in the order of priority on the CSAS dashboard.

It will be mostly difficult to get admission with that marks.The percentage of marks should be atleast 75% for safe. It will be 72-73 but safe zone would be 75% for general category and for other castes it will go on decrease. Depends on branch in B.Tech also.
