The official exam conducting body, West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB), prepares and sets the syllabus of JENPAS UG entrance exam. The state-level entrance exam is conducted for screening candidates for admission to BSc-Nursing, BPT, BMLT, BSc-CCT, BSc-OTT, BSc-PT, BSc-PA, B.Sc. MMB, B.V.S.O, BHA courses.  The Paper-I (for all courses) will be based on 11th and 12th standard syllabi and curriculum of the recognised Board/Councils in India. However, the Paper-II (for BHA) will test candidates based on the content of Physical Science and Mathematics. The questions will be based on 10th standard syllabi of West Bengal Board of Secondary Education and other equivalent and recognised Boards/Councils in India and the content of General Knowledge, Basic English and Logical reasoning will be equivalent to 12th standard curriculum.

JENPAS UG Answer Key 2026

WBJEEB will release the FINAL ANSWER KEY around 15 days after the exam concludes. The OMR and response sheets will be released for the candidates who will appear for the exam. No. There was no option to fill out the JENPAS application form 2026 in offline mode. Candidates were not allowed to fill the in offline mode. The entire JENPAS registration process was conducted online at the official admission portal, wbjeeb.nic.in/jenpas-ug/. It is mandatory to upload the documents online to appear for the nursing and paramedical entrance exam.

JENPAS UG 2026 - Seat Acceptance

Candidates will be able to participate in the JENPAS UG 2026 seat acceptance process after the announcement of the seat allotment result. Follow the process mentioned below:

  1. Candidates are required to log in to check the JENPAS UG 2026 seat allotment status.
  2. The JENPAS UG 2026 seat allotment status will show the institute and course in which he/she has been allotted a seat.
  3. The candidate must pay a seat acceptance fee of INR 1000/- (Rupees one thousand only), and download the JENPAS UG allotment letter. If the candidate fails to pay the seat acceptance fee, the current allotment will be canceled, and he/she will not be considered for seat allotment in any future round.
  4. After paying the seat acceptance fee, the candidate must note his/her Unique Allotment ID ( from the candidate’s login), which he/she will need to disclose to the concerned admission officer of the allotted Institute to confirm his/her admission. Candidates are advised not to disclose the JENPAS UG Unique Allotment ID to any other person except the admission officer of the allotted Institute.
  5. After downloading the JENPAS UG allotment letter, the candidate must report to the allotted institute with the letter and all other necessary documents for verification. If the candidate fails to report for document verification, the current allotment will be canceled, and he/she will not be considered for seat allotment in any future round (EXIT).

Q:   What is the age limit to apply for the JENPAS UG exam?
A: 

Candidates should have attained a minimum of 17 years to appear for the JENPAS UG exam. Thye must not be older than 35 years. The applicant must be 17 years of age as on 31.12.2026. The upper age limit for the BVSO programme is 40 years.

Q:   When will the seat allotment result for JENPAS UG counselling announced?
A: 

JENPAS UG counselling seat allotment result was announced online for the Round-1 counselling. For the round-2 counselling, WBJEEB released the seat allotment result separately. A third mop-up round was conducted for the seats that remain vacant. Candidates were able to download the seat allotment result for the mop-up round as all the updates/results that were published on wbjeeb.nic.in. 

Q:   What documents are required to participate in JENPAS UG counselling?
A: 

Document verification was done at the time of admission in JENPAS UG counselling. Candidates must present the following documents: Provisional Seat Allotment Letter, JENPAS UG Rank card, Class 10th admit card/birth certificate, Class 12th marksheet, and an Undertaking from the candidate as per the Proforma.

Q:   Do I need to pay any seat acceptance fee for admission via JENPAS UG exam?
A: 

As per the guidelines issued by WBJEEB, a seat acceptance fee of INR 1000/- (Rupees one thousand only) must be paid to download the allotment letter. If the candidate fails to pay the seat acceptance fee, the current allotment will be cancelled. The candidate will not be considered for further rounds as well. The counselling process will be carried out online through the official website.

There is no limit on the number of attempts for JENPAS UG. Candidate can take the JENPAS UG exam for multiple time provided he or she fulfill the eligibility criteria.
