The JENPAS UG 2025 syllabus was released by WBJEEB along with the information bulletin for the exam. No changes were introduced in the JENPAS UG syllabus 2025. In the past few years, the JENPAS UG syllabus has remained unchanged. Once WBJEE released the syllabus officially through the information bulletin. The official exam conducting body, West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB), prepares and sets the syllabus of JENPAS UG entrance exam. The state-level entrance exam is conducted for screening candidates for admission to BSc-Nursing, BPT, BMLT, BSc-CCT, BSc-OTT, BSc-PT, BSc-PA, B.Sc. MMB, B.V.S.O, BHA courses.  The Paper-I (for all courses) will be based on 11th and 12th standard syllabi and curriculum of the recognised Board/Councils in India. However, the Paper-II (for BHA) will test candidates based on the content of Physical Science and Mathematics. The questions will be based on 10th standard syllabi of West Bengal Board of Secondary Education and other equivalent and recognised Boards/Councils in India and the content of General Knowledge, Basic English and Logical reasoning will be equivalent to 12th standard curriculum.

There are two papers which are conducted on the same day, Paper I and Paper II. Subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Basic English, and Logical Reasoning are asked in the JENPAS UG syllabus. There are a total of 100 questions carrying 115 marks overall in the paper I. Important subjects included in Paper II are Physical Science, Mathematics, General Knowledge, Basic English, and Logical Reasoning.  A total of 100 questions carrying 115 marks overall in the paper II also.

Yes, it is important and mandatory to carry the JENPAS UG hall ticket to the examination hall. It is the proof and validates your candidature for appearing in the entrance exam. Do not forget to take it as entry will not be allowed. Soft copy of the hall ticket is not to be presented at the test centre.

Students who appear in JENPAS UG exam must note that they can raise the objections in JENPAS UG provisional answer key by paying a non refundable fees. The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) will review the objections raised by the students after they release the final answer key.

WBJEEB has announced the JENPAS UG counselling date online. The authority commenced JENPAS UG counselling 2026 registration & choice filling from August 6, 2026. Candidates who have qualified in the JENPAS UG exam can participate in the counselling process.

Registration was mandatory to participate in JENPAS UG e-counselling and admission. Those candidates who did not register within the pre-declared period were NOT considered for allotment of any seat in any round under any circumstances. Registration fee for e-counselling is INR 500 only.

As per the JENPAS UG eligibility criteria, the exam conducting body allows applicants of 35 years of age, maximum, to apply for the exam. Only female candidates are eligible to enroll for the exam. 

Yes, the JENPAS UG previous year question papers are easily available for the exam preparation. Candidates will be able to find them on the Shiksha website. They are freely available for download. The JENPAS UG previous year question papers will help candidates understand the exam expectations and difficulty level.

JENPAS UG 2026 Round 1 seat allotment result  was released on August 12, 2026. The link to check the seat allotment result was updated online at wbjeeb.nic.in/jenpas-ug/.

Document verification was done at the time of admission in JENPAS UG counselling. Candidates must present the following documents: Provisional Seat Allotment Letter, JENPAS UG Rank card, Class 10th admit card/birth certificate, Class 12th marksheet, and an Undertaking from the candidate as per the Proforma.

Candidates should have attained a minimum of 17 years to appear for the JENPAS UG exam. Thye must not be older than 35 years. The applicant must be 17 years of age as on 31.12.2026. The upper age limit for the BVSO programme is 40 years.

As per the guidelines issued by WBJEEB, a seat acceptance fee of INR 1000/- (Rupees one thousand only) must be paid to download the allotment letter. If the candidate fails to pay the seat acceptance fee, the current allotment will be cancelled. The candidate will not be considered for further rounds as well.
