The JENPAS UG 2025 counselling was conducted by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) until December 2025. The admission process for the next academic year is expected to begin in April 2026. The JENPAS UG answer key PDF and Rank Card were also released through the official website, "wbjeeb.nic.in/jenpas-ug/". The JENPAS UG entrance was held on October 18, 2025, after much delay. JENPAS UG 2025 exam was held on October 18, 2025. The official date has not been released by WBJEEB on the official website, wbjeeb.nic.in. Earlier, the exam was scheduled to he held on May 25, 2025, but it was cancelled. 

Q:   Is JENPAS UG an online exam or offline exam?
A: 

JENPAS UG is an offline exam that carries Multiple Choice Questions (Objective-type), in which four options are provided in each question. The question paper is provided in both English and Bengali. Candidates are given 90 minutes to solve the paper. Each candidate gets 2 marks correct answer, and for each wrong answer, 0.5 marks will be deducted. 

Q:   Can male candidates apply for the JENPAS UG exam?
A: 

Yes, both male and female candidates can apply and appear for the JENPAS UG exam. However, male candidates are not eligible for admission in the BSc nursing course in government colleges of West Bengal. They can only apply to the private colleges to pursue the BSc nursing course.

Q:   Is JENPAS UG exam restricted only for candidates belonging to West Bengal state?

Yes, candidates domiciled in West Bengal are only eligible to apply for the JENPAS UG entrance exam. An Indian citizen who is a domicile of WB can apply for the exam. JENPAS UG 2025 admission process consists of five steps, which involve application and counselling. Below are the steps of the admission process:

  1. Fill the Application Form as prescribed by the conducting body

JENPAS UG 2025 Eligibility

Before filling out the online application form, candidates must ensure that they meet the WBJEE JENPAS UG eligibility criteria 2025. The following are some points about the JENPAS UG qualifying criteria:
Nationality: Candidates must possess Indian nationality.
Age Limit: The candidate's age must be 17 years or more, and the upper age limit should vary from course to course as:

  • For BSc Nursing and BPT: No upper age limit
  • For BASLP: Not more than 25 years as of 31 December 2025.
  • For BMLT: Not more than 40 Years as of 31 December 2025.

The JENPAS UG 2025 application form was released on September 8, 2025. The students can register for the JENPAS UG exam in online mode only. JENPUAH is the former name for the JENPAS UG exam. JENPAS stands for the Joint Entrance Test for Nursing, Paramedical and Allied Sciences Undergraduate exam. It is being conducted by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) for entry to undergraduate courses. The JENPAS UG exam is conducted in offline mode and is organised once a year. The exam was conducted on October 18, 2025. 

Q:   When will West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) start registration for the exam?

JENPAS UG 2025 application process CONCLUDED on September 16, 2025. The application forms were available on the official website, wbjeeb.nic.in. It was mandatory to register for the UG entrance exam by providing information in the online JENPAS UG application form, such as name, father's name, mother's name, date of birth, and gender, after which a login ID was to be generated. Using the WBJEE JENPAS UG login credentials, candidates were able to fill in personal information, educational qualification information, and submit pictures as specified. Candidates had to pay the appropriate application fee and submit the form upon completion of the application procedure. At the time of WBJEE JENPAS UG 2025 registration, it was mandatory to submit a legitimate contact number and email address.

The entire admission process from registration to counselling was organised and managed by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB). The JENPAS UG application process was extended for around a month. Post this exercise, WBJEEB opened the JENPAS UG application correction window, during which candidates were able to edit/modify the registration form.

No. There was no option to fill the JENPAS application form 2025 in offline mode. Candidates were not allowed to fill the form in offline mode. The entire JENPAS registration process was conducted online at the official admission portal, wbjeeb.nic.in/jenpas-ug/. It was mandatory to fill and upload the documents online to appear for the nursing and paramedical entrance exam.

JENPAS UG 2025 Admit Card

The JENPAS UG admit card 2025 was available for download from October 10, 2025 till October 18, 2025 by the WBJEEB. An application number, date of birth, and security pin is required to log in on the official website i.e., wbjeeb.nic.in. It is important to download and then take a printout of the JENPAS UG hall ticket. A printed hard copy of the JENPAS UG admit card 2025 is mandatory to be presented at the centre along with a valid picture ID proof. The admit card/hall ticket comprises the candidate's name, roll number, picture, signature, examination date, time, and test centre.

No, there is no negative marking in JENPAS UG exam for category-II questions. In both paper I and paper II, there will be two categories of questions in the exam. The category-II questions will not attract any negative marking for the candidates. Salient features of category-II questions are: Candidates is free to choose one/more options. Not attempting the questions will lead to 0 marks. However, for Category I questions, - ¼ (25% negative) marks will be deducted for choosing incorrect options.

JENPAS UG exam syllabus 2025 for the nursing and paramedical entrance exam is mentioned below. There were two papers scheduled on the exam day. Here is the syllabus guideline issued by the conducting body: 

a) Paper-I (for all courses other than BHA) is based on 11th and 12th standard syllabi and curriculum of the recognized Board/Councils in India (see detailed list on the website).
b) Paper-II (for BHA) The content of Physical Science and Mathematics is based on the 10th standard syllabi of the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education and other equivalent and recognized Boards/Councils in India and the content of General Knowledge, Basic English, and Logical reasoning is equivalent to 12th standard curriculum.

JENPAS UG Answer Key 2025

WBJEEB released the FINAL ANSWER KEY on November 12, 2025. The OMR and response sheets were released on November 6, 2025 for the candidates who appeared for the exam on October 18, 2025. Candidates can check their individual recorded response sheet by downloading it from the official website. The OMR sheet and recorded response sheet can also be challenged by paying an objection fee of INR 500/- per response.

JENPAS UG 2025 Counselling

JENPAS UG counseling process 2025 for the mop-up round was conducted by the WBJEEB for admission to the UG-level programmes. The counselling was conducted on the basis of the number of available seats and colleges. The seats were distributed according to the candidates' positions on the merit list. Numerous universities undertook their own admission process for the counselling individually.

A total of two rounds of counselling were held, and an additional mop-up round was also conducted. Online registration was mandatory to participate in the JENPAS UG counselling process.

JENPAS 2025 counselling process involves several steps that are mentioned below:

  1. Online Registration to participate in the counselling process
  2. Payment of the Registration Fee is mandatory to complete the counselling registration process

Q:   When will WBJEEB release JENPAS UG counselling dates?

WBJEEB released the counselling dates for JENPAS UG 2025. According to the counselling schedule, the JENPAS UG counselling registration began on November 14, 2025. Choice filling was open till November 19, 2025. The entire JENPAS UG counselling events are mentioned on the official website, wbjeeb.nic.in. It was mandatory to participate in counselling to seek admission to the BSc Nursing 4-year duration course. 

Q:   When will JENPAS UG 2025 counselling process begin?
A: 

The JENPAS UG 2025 counselling process was held from November 14, 2025. The JENPAS UG counselling registration was ongoing at the official website. There were two rounds of counselling. The entire counselling process was being managed online at wbjeeb.nic.in, for admission to BSc-Nursing, BPT, BMLT, BSc-CCT, BSc-OTT, BSc-PT, BSc-PA, B.Sc. MMB, B.V.S.O, BHA courses.

Q:   What all details are required to register for JENPAS UG counselling?
A: 

Candidates need to provide necessary personal details, academic details, bank account details (for in case of any refund), address, etc. The Candidate must also provide his/her application number/roll number and rank for JENPAS (UG)-2024 and provide following academic information. Plese note that there is no provision to make any correction/editing after final submission of the registration by the candidate.

Q:   Is Registration mandatory to participate in JENPAS UG counselling?
A: 

Registration was mandatory to participate in JENPAS UG e-counselling and admission. Those candidates who did not register within the pre-declared period were NOT considered for allotment of any seat in any round under any circumstances. Registration fee for e-counselling is INR 500 only.

JENPAS UG 2025 - Seat Acceptance

Candidates will be able to participate in the JENPAS UG 2025 seat acceptance process after the announcement of the seat allotment result. Follow the process mentioned below:

  1. Candidates are required to log in to check the JENPAS UG 2025 seat allotment status.
  2. The JENPAS UG 2025 seat allotment status shows the institute and course in which he/she has been allotted a seat.
  3. The candidate must pay a seat acceptance fee of INR 1000/- (Rupees one thousand only), and download the JENPAS UG allotment letter. If the candidate fails to pay the seat acceptance fee, the current allotment will be canceled, and he/she will not be considered for seat allotment in any future round.
  4. After paying the seat acceptance fee, the candidate must note his/her Unique Allotment ID ( from the candidate’s login), which he/she will need to disclose to the concerned admission officer of the allotted Institute to confirm his/her admission. Candidates are advised not to disclose the JENPAS UG Unique Allotment ID to any other person except the admission officer of the allotted Institute.
  5. After downloading the JENPAS UG allotment letter, the candidate must report to the allotted institute with the letter and all other necessary documents for verification. If the candidate fails to report for document verification, the current allotment will be canceled, and he/she will not be considered for seat allotment in any future round (EXIT).

Q:   When will the seat allotment result for JENPAS UG counselling announced?
A: 

JENPAS UG counselling seat allotment result was announced online for the Round-1 counselling. For the round-2 counselling, WBJEEB released the seat allotment result separately. A third mop-up round was conducted for the seats that remain vacant. Candidates were able to download the seat allotment result for the mop-up round as all the updates/results that were published on wbjeeb.nic.in. 

Q:   What documents are required to participate in JENPAS UG counselling?
A: 

Document verification was done at the time of admission in JENPAS UG counselling. Candidates must present the following documents: Provisional Seat Allotment Letter, JENPAS UG Rank card, Class 10th admit card/birth certificate, Class 12th marksheet, and an Undertaking from the candidate as per the Proforma.

Q:   Do I need to pay any seat acceptance fee for admission via JENPAS UG exam?
A: 

As per the guidelines issued by WBJEEB, a seat acceptance fee of INR 1000/- (Rupees one thousand only) must be paid to download the allotment letter. If the candidate fails to pay the seat acceptance fee, the current allotment will be cancelled. The candidate will not be considered for further rounds as well. The counselling process will be carried out online through the official website. 

Q:   What is the age limit to apply for the JENPAS UG exam?
A: 

Candidates should have attained minimum 17 years to appear for JENPAS UG exam. Thye must not be older than 35 years. The applicant must be 17 years of age as on 31.12.2025. The upper age limit for the BVSO programme is 40 years.

The JENPAS UG admit card mentions the test centre location. Once it is issued, it cannot be changed by the authorities unless there is a change in the decision of the conducting body due to some unforeseen circumstances.
