1. The candidate must have WBJEEM-2016 General Merit Rank (GMR) up to GMR 14000 for General candidates and All GMR for Reserved Candidates.
2. Candidates must pass Higher Secondary (10+2) Examination in General Stream in regular class mode of West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or equivalent examination from a recognized Council/Board with: a) Indiv idual pass mark in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. b) Minimum of 60% marks in abov e subjects taken together (45% for SC/ST/PWD/OBC-A/OBC-B candidates) having 60% marks in Mathematics (45% for SC/ST/PWD/OBC-A/OBC-B candidates) as well as pass in English with a minimum of 30% (for all categories of candidates) in the said qualifying examination.
3. Candidate must be 17 years of age or above as on 31.12.2017.
4. Medical fitness: Candidates seeking admission to aforesaid Undergraduate Engg /Arch/Pharm courses should possess good health and physique with sound mind and should be capable of undergoing N.C.C. Training. They should not have any physical deformity or infirmity and should not be suffering from any disease or illness that might incapacitate him/her in future. Eye-sight standard : (a) should not be color blind for admission to Chemical, Civil, Architecture, Pharmacy, Metallurgy and Printing Engineering courses; (b) allowable defect - myopia or myopic astigmatism with correcting lens not exceeding 8.00. (Medical fitness will not be required for candidates under Physically Challenged quota).
5. Provisional admission will be made after verification of relevant documents. The provisional admission is liable to be cancelled if any document is found to be false later.

So you must have also started exploring the world of game development. Cool, isn't it? How can game developers make these awesome things? How can they sew a whole new virtual world with the power of programming, AI, graphics and what not? But after quite searching, you must have exhausted and thought, Hi why not join a college for game programming in India? Stop right there. Keep one thing in mind, you don't need college for learning how to create games. As far as I have been into this, it involves the use of logic and a better understanding of programming language (especially C+since it is widely used in everything). Rather go for learning computer science. It is the discipline which is important, not the game programming college. Moreover, you will be able to combine all other areas of computer Science into programming games. Whereas in game programming college, they will only teach you a specific area of programming, which is quite wrong and won't be helpful in long run. I can't tell you much about diplomas as I am a B.Tech myself. But the main difference between a post graduate Diploma and an advanced Diploma is that a post graduate Diploma as the name suggests is a PG Diploma, whereas advance Diploma is same as the regular Diploma only that its a 3- year degree course as compared to a 2-year regular diploma. Masters as well as PGD, both are beneficial after graduation in mechanical engineering. But the difference between a Postgraduate Certificate, a Postgraduate Diploma and a Masters M.A. Or M.Sc. Or MS) is in the amount of credits the course contains. A general Masters degree contains a greater number of credits (usually 1.5 times) than a post graduate Diploma. More number of credits enables one to achieve better results with increased probability of scoring. So, it would be a wise decision to earn more number of credits and increase job and career prospects in a 2- year time which is same for both Masters and PGD. That's all I know. Hope it helps.
