There is no such issue in taking a pause after graduation. Generally aspirants take a break so meanwhile they can work for a year or two for attaining practical knowledge, else to appear for competitive exams.
In your case, I am not aware of the reason. But, a genuine reason is positively accepted when you appear for MBA. Do try to utilize this year worthily so that the gap won't waste your precious time.

Hi Aman,
The BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) is the only educational and professional program of dental surgery in India.In the medical educational field, it is the second choice of the students after the MBBS course. It has also a very good job opening like that of MBBS. There are plenty of good jobs & higher study opportunities available after getting the degree in dentistry as a doctor. Especially in abroad, you will get more openings. Salary is in the range of 5-8 lacs per annum.
After completing BDS, you may find employment as:
-Consultant
-Professors
-Forensics
-Dental surgeon
-Oral pathologist
-Medical Representative / Sales Represent

It will come down to where you want to settle and also your current profile and if your academics are strong, go ahead and apply in a top ranked university abroad, it will give you a global exposure and platform.Countries like Canada, Australia, etc., provide work permits to successful graduates which you can utilise for gaining international work experience.

Hello Prachi,
GRE would be required to study in the USA. Additionally, you must also take the TOEFL or IELTS. For Canada, Australia and UK, GRE does not seem to be compulsory, although you must take the TOEFL or IELTS and must hold a Bachelor's degree in a closely related field.
