Yeah, internships and industry projects are pretty much a core part of how we study at GIBS. It's not like a “nice to have” — it's built into the program. As a student, I felt it makes a huge difference because you're constantly applying what you learn instead of just studying for exams. We had live projects with companies, internships, case work, and even small consulting-style assignments during the trimester. By the time placements start, you already have real work experience to talk about, which honestly gives confidence.
