If you have given exams in the banking sector, I would suggest you wait for results before taking any decision. If you think you have done well, you will definitely find a suitable job in this sector. If you want to teach, you will have to study B.Ed which is the basic criteria or qualification to land a teaching job, or you can do your doctorate and then take up a teaching position. Your M.Tech degree would qualify you as a teacher in many institutes and research positions in multi-national firms. Regards.

Hi Dwaipayan!
In order to pursue a career in banking, you will have to appear for the following exams:
1. RRB CWE for vacancies in Regional rural banks
2. Clerk CWE for Clerical cadre posts
3. PO CWE for Probationary officer posts
4. Specialist Officer CWE for specialist officer positions
All the above exams are conducted by Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS). A graduate in any discipline can apply for the above mentioned exams.

Hi Priywrat!
If you want to pursue a career in finance, you can definitely go for it. In order to fulfill the eligibility criteria, you should have completed your class 12 with maths/statistics as a mandatory subject. There is no different criteria for a science student. AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education) is an advisory body which plays a very important role in the development of technical education throughout the country. AICTE has laid down certain norms and standards to promote quality education in India. A college must be necessarily approved by AICTE, in case you are not studying in the campus of the university. All the specializations have equal importance. PGDM-BIF is an ideal course for the people willing to make a career in Banking and Finance sector. General PGDM will give you a decent amount of knowledge in each field like finance, marketing, HR, operation, etc.
