At GIBS Bangalore, the minimum graduation percentage required for admission into the MBA/PGDM programme is usually simple and student-friendly.

In general:

  • You need to have passed your bachelor's degree from a recognised university.

  • Most years, GIBS expects around 50% or equivalent marks in graduation to be eligible.

  • What matters more is your overall profile, entrance exam score, and performance in personal interaction/assessment.

So You don't need super high marks to apply — as long as you've completed graduation with a reasonable score, GIBS will consider your application along with other factors.

GIBS accepts scores from all major management entrance exams, including:

  • CAT

  • XAT

  • MAT

  • CMAT

  • GMAT

  • ATMA

  • State CET

This gives students multiple options to apply. Along with entrance exam scores, GIBS also looks at the overall profile, communication skills, and interest in management, which makes the admission process fair and student-friendly.
