The following is current information on the internship results of students at GIBS Business School in Bangalore for this most recent academic year.

Internship rates:
An overwhelming number of eligible students receive internships from campus internship drives, indicating the high level of support and partnership with the businesses to provide placements.

Internship companies:
An estimated 80-90 companies offer internships every year through the internship process in a number of sectors, which include the following: FMCG, finance, healthcare, IT and consulting.

The above statistics indicate that nearly all students will receive hands-on work experience before they graduate, from a full range of companies recruiting interns directly from our campus.

GIBS Business School, Bangalore regularly utilizes structured feedback loops to improve their academic programs, training methodologies, and industry relationships through input from both students and industry recruiters. 

Regular Student Feedback Surveys

• As part of their commitment to continuous improvement, students provide feedback about course delivery, a match between curriculum and the "real-world" application of skills learned in-class, skill-building workshops, course assessments, and campus services through the use of periodic surveys and evaluations. 

Internship/Placement Feedback 

• Students provide valuable information to the school regarding their actual internship/placement experience, including perceived degree of preparation for an internship/job, employer expectations, skill level of student, and quality of training received in preparation for their internship/job, which enables the school to identify potential gaps in training. 

Recruiters provide structured and informal feedback regarding a student's performance on the job and/or during interviews to help identify areas of strength/weakness and readiness for employment, generally during or after a placement cycle has been completed. 

Alumni and Industry Mentor Feedback 

• As part of their commitment to continuously improving their programs, the alumni and industry mentors of GIBS Business School provide relevant and timely information regarding the relevance of coursework and their experience on-the-job to provide information regarding opportunities for improvement in the courses and/or professional development modules offered by the school. 

Feedback Evaluation/Actions 

• The academic committee, placement cell, and GIBS Business School leadership regularly evaluate feedback received from both students and recruiters to identify potential improvements/updates (e.g., curriculum updates, new workshop offerings, revisions to skills development modules, increased opportunities for interaction with the industry, etc.) and implement action plans based upon identified areas for improvement. 
•  Following the implementation of any changes to GIBS Business School as a result of the above feedback process, the school communicates back to both students and recruiters to demonstrate their responsiveness to their needs and enhance their overall engagement with the school.
