Dear Neha, BBA or B.Com is an often repeated question here on Shiksha platform. But, your question comes with a specific dimension of placements. Now, "better placements" is a very subjective issue and can be evaluated by every individual differently. There are at least 5 parameters on which aspirants might judge quality of placement - Salary, Brand, Timings, Location, Profile. This means that job offer which is excellent for Tom might be average for Jack. So, to bring some objectivity let's take average salary package to be the parameter of comparison. If we compare overall placement scenario in Delhi, then B.Com (Hons) undoubtedly is the more preferred qualification. This is evident from the high cut off lists published by colleges of Delhi University. So, students are offered higher salary packages after completing B.Com (Hons) in Delhi. Now BBS and BBA are both foundation courses in business management, and will enable you to get an entry level job in business domain. They do provide you some great opportunities, but you will be expected to take a study break and complete an MBA to realize your full potential. DU JAT Exam consists of 4 sections, so candidates should prepare accordingly and take care that each section is given proper time while preparing for the exam. Time must be managed to give a good shot to the exam. Candidates can go through following points for time management:-
Candidates should study 3-4 hours regularly to try to get selected into the exam. Candidates should divide their time among the four sections. Candidates should read newspapers like THE HINDU or THE INDIAN EXPRESS daily for at least 1 hour. Candidates should practice English comprehensions and error corrections for at least 1 hour. LR and QA should be prepared for 1 hour with variety of questions. Students must be thorough with the DU JAT 2017 Exam Pattern for scoring good marks. Candidates should give extra time to those sections which they find difficult while writing answer nut first they should complete those sections in which they are good at. Time for a mock test should be spared everyday.
