BCA Eligibility

Yes, students who have obtained their BCA degrees from IIHS Ghaziabad are eligible for various job opportunities in the public sector. This happens because pursuing a BCA programme equips students with necessary employability skills.

To secure a government job, students may be required to take various government exams, such as the Staff Selection Commission (SSC), Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) Exams, UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) Exams, etc.

Students who passed Class 12 (Higher Secondary) from a recognised board alongside meeting specific subject requirements can pursue a BCA (Bachelor of Computer Applications) at Bankura University. A subject combination of Mathematics with Computer Science or Statistics as one of the two topics is required to complete class 10+2 before admission. The required minimum cumulative score for admissions stands at 45 to 50 percent for students in the general category and 40 to 45 percent for students in the reserved category groups including SC/ST/OBC.
