No, it does't matter because college is equally responsible for all the courses it provides, or you can see college's placement history for BCA students. The other positive thing is, you'll also get benefit being with B.Tech students in the area of learning different things that are designed for B.Tech course.

I am not from this domain so I have not much knowledge about it. But faculty of UPES is very good. Academics is also nice. But I don't know about the placements of BCA.

Hi. ELIGIBILITY OF THE MASTER OF COMPUTER APPLICATIONS [M. CA is as follows:
Graduation in any stream is the basic eligibility for MCA. The eligibility for qualifying marks in graduation differs from institute to institute. Most of the institutes require 45 to 50 % aggregate in qualifying exam for taking admission. Reserved categories get some relaxation in aggregate percentage. Apart from thisthere is another prerequisite for taking admission in MCA degree; one must have studied Mathematics in 10+2 as a compulsory subject. MCA.
