You can do a part-time job while doing BCA degree. BCA degree has a big syllabus and to become a good software engineer, you require to put a lot of effort. Therefore, you must evaluate whether you can handle both studies and job pressure simultaneously.

Average starting salary of BCA graduates is Rs. 15000 per month and of MCA graduates around Rs. 30000 per month. If you are an engineering graduate with AutoCAD training and experience you can get starting salary of Rs. 50000 per month.

From professional standpoint BCA is preferable as the other two courses as mentioned are academic. Indian IT industry prefers BCA graduate. So, if job is immediate requirement after graduation you should go for BCA.

Yes, BCA is a very good course only if you have interest in computer. Otherwise I won't recommend it. Else you should opt for BBA since you are form commerce.

There are so many reputed colleges in Kolkata for studying BCA like:
1.Apex colleges of Management Studies,
2. Institute of Management Studies
3 B.P. Poddar institute of Management and Technology
4. George College
5. OEM
6. Techno India University, etc.
