If you didn't had CS or IP in 10+2 then you wouldn't face much problems in programming. As in BCA you'll get to study programming languages from the beginning. So, it doesn't matter that much if you have studied programming or not in BCA. But you can face some problems in mathematics. As mathematics of BCA is totally dependent on Maths of 10+2. So, you'll need to clear your basics to be able to understand mathematics in BCA. You'll get to study basics in first 2 semesters of BCA. So don't worry that much but you'll have to put your efforts into it. If you want to learn programming languages which you will be studying in your BCA course

Yes, If you want to go with CS either you can take B.Sc in CS or BCA. But, you shouldn't stop with UG, since it's only 3 year degree in order to get placed with high packages you need to continue with Masters like MCA.

This can be a good decision, if doing BCA from a reputed colleges from placement point of view. Generally B.Tech CSE has big advantages over BCA course. However, keeping the financial constraints in consideration your decision may be right.

Jain University has 4 specializations in BCA course.
IOT, Cloud Technology and Information Security, Cloud Technology and Mobile Application, Mobile Application and Information Security. All of these specializations are in demand and have a huge scope in future. IOT and Cloud Technology are best options to choose! You can choose any of these two according to your interest.
