There is a very small difference among the syllabus of BCA and B.Sc in IT. B.Sc in IT is having more focus on theoretical concepts of computer science whereas BCA syllabus emphasis is on applications development and maintenance.

B.Sc and BCA are the same levels of educational qualification. You are eligible to appear for Civil Services examination conducted by UPSC after doing either B.Sc or BCA. Computer science is not a subject under Mains optional papers in the exam. Therefore, you are advised to do B.Sc and choose any of subject such as physics, chemistry, maths etc. to appear in the exam.

BCA is a job oriented degree course and you can go for a job immediately after BCA in small and medium-sized IT companies. Unfortunately, large Indian IT companies and MNCs do not prefer BCA for entry level developer and testers role and these companies may hire for a junior developer or application support jobs. If there are no personal conditions, you are advised to complete MCA before seeking a job in IT industry. MCA graduates are treated on par with B.Tech CS and B.Sc IT graduates for application development and maintenance jobs.

Hello Abhishek,
Once you complete a Bachelors degree, you are considered a graduate. When you complete a Master degree, you are considered a post-graduate. As per the details you have provided, you became a graduate when you completed pursuing Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) and you became a post-graduate when you completed Master of Computer Applications (MCA).
I hope this answers your question to your satisfaction. If you have any further questions, kindly revert.
