To be eligible for admission into BCA a candidate needs to score at least 45% in their +2. The eligibility criteria differs for every other college, so you need to find that particular university or college which will provide you admission into BCA as some colleges don't provide admission to non-mathematics students. But there are many colleges which do provide admission to non-mathematics students too. So, find that university which suits your criteria. I don't think that there is any lateral entry for a course like BCA, but you can try to get admission into colleges as you have completed your Diploma in Computer Science. Otherwise, you'll have to get admission into 1st Year of BCA. Good Luck.

To be eligible for Jamia Hamdard University, a candidate need to score passing marks in mathematics in +2 to be eligible for admission into BCA and score atleast 50%. If you have studied maths in your arts then you can easily get admission into Jamia on the basis of interview but if you haven't studied maths then you don't need to worry there are various other colleges and universities which provides admission to arts students into BCA. To be eligible for BITM, you need to study mathematics in your +2 in order to get admission into BCA. But there are various other colleges from which you can pursue your BCA. As you have studied Computer in your +2, then you can get admission into almost every other college very easily. Hey Tamanna,
Candidates are selected on the basis of marks obtained in 10th standard, 10+2, Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) and performance in the personal interview and written ability test.
Selection weightage and parameters:
Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET): 50 Marks
Personal Interview: 20 Marks
Writing Ability Test: 20 Marks
Academic Profile Score: 10 Marks (based on the 10th standard, 10+2 marks).
But if you missed the exam then you can't get admission here and have to try next time or through management quota.

NIOS students can take admission into BCA without any problem. You just need to make sure that you score at least 45% in your +2 from NIOS. If you can meet this criteria then you can take admission into BCA into almost every college. Remember that there are different criteria for different universities.
